Amy is running solo and dishing on holiday shopping, her show Enron has started rehearsals, Prop 8 news AND Deb Pearce had her little baby Jack (see our Blog for his pic)! YAY! Congrats to Deb and her partner LeeAnn.
Guests: Gay Couple Adam Belcuore and Eric Davis join Amy on the Queercast to share their story on adoption and the adoption process. Adam (casting director at the Goodman Theater) and partner Eric share how they got together (12 years ago), their discussion of having children, going to The Cradle Adoption Agency and discuss some of the misconceptions of adoption. They also explain the Chicago Entertainment Collective which is a benefit to give back to those who help create Chicago’s arts community. Adam and Eric received proceeds to help with their adoption fees because they do not qualify for charitable options given to other families.
