Amy is wishing everyone a happy Fourth of July! She is thrilled to have GLBT trailblazer Leigh Silverman on the show today! She is in town for her directorial debut at the Goodman Theatre for her show, Chinglish.
Guest: Lesbian director, Leigh Silverman, joins Amy on the Queercast. Leigh is the director of Chinglish at the Goodman Theatre which is getting huge responses from critics and audience members alike. Leigh discusses her career in theater, being a lesbian in theater and about her professional partnerships, one of which took her to Broadway at a very young age. Chinglish will be at the Goodman Theatre thru July 24th.
