WCQ417 The Fabulous Singer/Songwriter Matt Alber

Host: Amy Matheny

Amy is going to miss Oprah and is coming to terms with her departure from television. She also teases with who is coming on some upcoming shows.  Where is the sunshine?  Chicago is still waiting to celebrate Spring time!

Guest: Out Singer/Songwriter Matt Alber joins Amy on the Queercast. Matt is an openly gay musician currently living in Seattle, Washington.  He shares his early beginnings with his family, attending a Christian Church, when he knew he was gay, his amazing Grammy winning choir experience and his songwriting process.  Matt is coming to Chicago on May 25th to perform an acoustic performance at Schuba's Tavern. Matt will be joined by the UCAN Foundation of Illinois to raise awareness about homeless LGBT youth. If you are unfamiliar with his video End of the World, check it out here.
