Tracy Baim is Publisher of Lambda Publications, which produces the Windy City Queercast as part of its other media projects, including Windy City Times, Nightspots, identity. Baim founded Lambda Publications and Outlines newspaper in 1987 after having co-founded Windy City Times in 1985. In the year 2000, Baim purchased Windy City Times and merged Outlines into WCT. She is a member of the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame and was a "40 Under 40" honoree from Crain's Chicago Business at age 32. She is co-founder of the Chicago Area Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and served as co-chair of the agency for four years. She received more awards than any other journalist in the 2000 Q Syndicate national gay media awards. She received her news-editorial journalism degree from Drake University in 1984, and was mentored by her own parents: Steven Pratt, a journalist with the Chicago Tribune for 29 years, and Joy Darrow, who worked for a variety of publications, including the Tribune and the Chicago Defender, where she was managing editor for several years.

Kathleen Ulm (Marketing/Promotions Director)

Kathleen has been working in the LBGT community for nearly 10 years getting her start at LesBiGay Radio in Chicago as a public relations and marketing newbie working on large Chicago events such as North Halsted Market Days and Chicago's Annual Pride Parade not to mention working side by side with LBGT supporters Miller Brewing and Merck Pharms.

From LesBiGay Radio Kathleen headed into print and online media working for Third Coast Marketing and now with Windy City Media Group. In the midst of creating fun and successful events for WCMG including the fourth year running Windy City Gay Idol, Kathleen co- created Chicago's largest and longest running women's production company in Chicago, Chix Mix Productions.

When Kathleen is not busy throwing events, marketing and promoting Chicago's leading gay media entities she enjoys spending time with her girlfriend Keely, her two dogs (Frankie and Pudge) and 15 year old cat, Murphy. She's also an avid daredevil enjoying bungee jumping, indoor skyflying, hang gliding, driving her motorcycle blindfolded (just kiddin' about that one) and experiencing life to the fullest on as many vacations as she can squeeze in.
