WCQ444 The Wonderful and Talented Faith Prince 2011-11-21
Host: Amy Matheny
Amy is very grateful and thankful for many things. What are your traditions for Thanksgiving? Amy is keeping hers by sitting on a beach far far away. She's digging Rosie's new talk show here in Chicago and also Anderson Cooper's new show. Glee's Naya "Santana" Rivera has also been a highlight for Amy this week. Amy also shares a little of her own coming out story. All of us at the Queercast wish all of our US listeners a very happy Thanksgiving.
Guest: Singer/Actress Faith Prince joins Amy on this Queercast. Faith is a multi-award winner including a Tony for her role as Ms. Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls". Faith shares her beginnings in the South and her early musical influences and inspirations for her act. She also shares a few upcoming television shows that she's appearing on. Faith is coming to Chicago for one night only December 3rd, performing her show, "Total Faith" at the Cahn Auditorium. Tickets and information can be found at www.tic.northwestern.edu or by calling (847) 491-7282.
